It’s a new year -2008. However, I will not sit and make useless resolutions to lose x amount of pounds by y date. Instead, I will continue to what I am doing now. I will not think about those who hate on me and instead focus on achieving greatness before my life comes to an end. In 2008, I will strive to be a better person, be happy, and continue the path to success! 

      I’m not super-religious. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Lord and Jesus Christ, but I am still in the process of soul searching. I came across something in the Bible a while ago. I could never figure out why it felt like the world is against me. Then I saw John 15:18 & 19 where Jesus says:

       18“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”

      As it has been revealed through the Word to me, I am not accepted by the majority of the world, because I am different. God has chosen me to be great. I know that He has great things in store for me. I am different from the others as the most successful people in the world usually are. If you are like everyone else, you get what everyone else gets. However, when you follow the “road less traveled”, you achieve greatness. The hard part is getting through it.

     I know I am on the path to greatness, but sometimes I get tired and want to give up on my dreams. When the world hates you, it is hard to keep going. When you feel like you have no love and/or support, it is hard to be motivated. I plan to look forward and not back or to the sides. I want to look forward and ignore the masses that hate me. They would love me if I was like them. But I can’t be. I am greater.
